NYC... Here I Come
Tomorrow I head to NYC to see Jodi for a full 24 hours. We'll rehearse for her cabaret in two weeks and likely hang out a bit. Has anyone tried the Bolt Bus yet? I'm picking it up at Penn Station downtown tomorrow morning... and I'm a bit anxious to try it. Hopefully there aren't any shady characters on board... or at least near me.

I've always taken the train up when I go, but I'm also usually up and back on the same day (plus I just like trains, maybe it's a Y chromosome thing) and 8h in one day in a bus seat that's probably too small for me would just kill me.
I have not taken the bus, but I have heard good things about the Bolt. Just watch out for the guy with the toe fetish (in a nod to "Old School").
As for the train, personally, I find the train to be too expensive for the duration of the trip. Also, my prior experience with Amtrak when I was in college was enough to turn me off of train travel for a very long time.
