'The Dark Crystal'
Who remembers 'The Dark Crystal'? My g-friend, Angie, and I have spent the last week quoting lines from this movie. (By the way the gelflings are Jen and KIRA, Ang. Grrrrrr....)
I have decided that my next cat will be named Fizzgig, after Kira's fuzzy pet (see photo above). Then the cat after Fizzgig I can name Aughra, after the crazy scientist lady. Who knew this movie would be such a great place to find

I drop Dark Crystal references into conversation every now and again, and no one EVER gets them. It's very sad. Or, possibly, I am.
I never did see that movie, as the characters kind of creeped me out. Hence, I freely admit to not knowing any Dark Crystal references.
And I am old enough to remember ads for it in some of the comics I read back in the day.
