Did You Miss BIT in the Sun?
What a day! Bags in Trees made it into the Baltimore Sun today. Laura Vozzella, a columnist at the Sun, highlighted our little website in her column - complete with some of my witty commentary and a lot of Brian Sacawa hype!
We are absolutely beside ourselves with excitement! Looks like we've finally hit the big time!

San Francisco, sadly, just voted to ban plastic bags. I think Baltimore is safe for now but you see how lightning fast the smoking ban gained support around here, the same thing might happen with the bags. Paper just doesn't have the same aerodynamic qualities.

Yes. I saw that on Brian's Flickr photostream. Very cool. And then, of course it seemed like I was seeing BITs everwhere. I knew I should have gotten my photos to you sooner. Now I'll just look like I'm jumping on the bandwagon :)
And you thought no one cared! I'm still hoping Brian will be my next door neighbor....
