I just bought Antonio's love with a dog bone. It's a crazy hard-to-chew bone, so it will buy me time to work sans licking and sad eyes.

I do that with my dog, too. Don't feel bad! Does Antonio have a nylabone? They're not bad for dogs like rawhide is, and they last for months.
Dogs need entertainment too! Ours are much better behaved if they have a few toys at the ready.
Nylabones are the greatest invention ever.
That really made me laugh for some reason. Sorry! I think Antonio is happy about his new bone and is not thinking you are horrible at all.
Actually, you would be a horrible person if you did NOT give your dog a bone to chew. Dogs need that activity for all kinds of healthful reasons.
Jumbone remnants are ALL over my carpet. I LOVE them, they take a while for the dogs to chew and they go wild for them. It is great to keep dogs busy with bones!!
