Ouch
Okay... I have officially had a root canal. My belly has been uneasy for hours, and my tooth has just started aching. That doesn't really make sense though, because it doesn't have nerves anymore. I wonder what is actually hurting me.
Next up - another root canal visit Monday and my crown on Thursday. I guess it's official. I'm all growed up now.

Hope all is well....I don't envy your visit to the dentist. I will be thinking about you.
It's the tissues surrounding the tooth that are sensitive from inflammation that are sore. In some cases secondary infections can also contribute to post-op discomfort.
Anti-inflammatory painkillers should help, and everything usually goes back to normal in a week or two. You'll notice an increase in the sensitivity over the first couple of days.
I wish I could be with you to make you homemade soup and kiss you on the head.
I hate it when you feel lousy and are do far away.

oh and one more thing... i miss you dearly! i've been traveling for work (love it though). we should try to get together this weekend. my aunt and her dog are staying w/us - maybe a trip to the dog park???? love you!
