I have a dangly mirror cover. How the heck do I fix this? I've looked but I don't see a way to pop the mirror off of the visor, nor do I see a way to just take the door off and fix whatever spring or hinge is broken. What am I supposed to do?
you could use one of those youth cloth headbands and then just slide it over when you need to use your mirror. oh, and i love that you used the word "dangly". that rocks. are you excited about the concert?
it's probably a tension thing that's broken, but it's a personal choice on whether it's worth the money to fix it. I would just either glue some magnets to each side, or velcro.
duct tape works too but you won't be able to use it as easily.
Dangly is an interesting description of the problem. Is it not securely snapping back into place? Normally, those types of hinges are spring-loaded. Also, it is probably possible to replace it and get the part inexpensively.
Anderson Automotive has a parts store, and I would definitely take a look to see if this is a part they sell.
Now, the other question that begs asking, how often have you been using this mirror for it to get into its current state.

velcro. it won't be perfect, but it does come with adhesive that will stick...
adhesive velcro or a magnet.

Ask Joey to fix it
Duct tape was a joke, really ;) Mom would have said "glue gun"...
Dad
I would imagine you could get a complete new visor for about $20 on eBay...

Have you tried punching it?
Try jamming a small rolled up piece of paper in the crack to see if it holds if not, what have you lost.
Mom
I'm gonna get your dad for the glue gun crack....that would hold too well.
