My Friday Off

So yesterday I had a nice day off. As I mentioned in a previous comment, Antonio spent a few hours at Patterson Park. Going there is my new favorite pastime. I bring water, snacks, a dog toy, a book and a blanket. I lay around and read, and Antonio watches people, squirrels, and plays with his toy. It's very relaxing, and I've been spending quality time reading... so soon I can change at least one of the books off to the right (in the sidebar).

Later on, Brian and I caught dinner at Coburns and then met Rob and Jill - who are back from their cruise, praise Jesus - at Bartenders, a nice little bar near the Gin Mill on Boston Street and possibly one of my new favorite places. It was loud but not too crowded. I appreciate that in a bar. It was a really fun night, although I'm not sure the mix of wine at dinner and beer at the bar was good for my head or my stomach. I haven't felt right all morning. Stupid girl.
