When you were growing up I used homemade when I could or I spiced up Ragu. Then I switched to Prego, way better but I always spiced it up with homemade meatballs, sausage and garlic etc. Just recently I tried Paul Newmans - yum . If you like it spicey - try Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce - not homemade but pretty darn good.
I make my own, but if I do buy it's Newman's Own all the way. Not only the pasta sauce but all the products and the fact that all the net profit from sales of Newman's own goes to charity is pretty impressive.

Uhhh ...
... whatever my mom uses?
Classico by a long shot
C for Alfredo and Vodka, and D for the Sockarooni
Do you know how much I love you right now, C? So much. And my answer is Five Brother's. We can't find it anymore up here, though.
Is this one of those "Death is not an option" things? Because sauce from a jar is just nine kinds of wrong.
I make my own, a couple of gallons at a time, and either freeze it or give it away. Ask me real pretty sometime and I may give you some.
Claude - so kind of you to offer! Homemade pasta can defintely be amazing when it's done right.
But just to clarify for everyone: I rarely ask anything "real pretty."
classico or barilla- my husband likes the olive kind- bleh!

I vote "Other". I don't like any jarred sauces. I like my own. :)
Just found your blog! It's great. :)
