To my female readers: What do you see wrong with this picture? Isn't it disturbing that feminine products are located next to roach killer? I mean seriously.
I know why they did it!! That way the husbands who have to pick up products for their wives can pretend that they are looking at something manly if they should run into anyone they know. It is Man Merchandising.
Nice! At Shoppers Food Warehouse on Fort Avenue, the kitty litter and cat food is DIRECTLY across from the tampons and maxi pads. I laugh every time I see it. Someone has a brilliant sense of humor out there.
Nicolette: I sent an email to info@beyondpesticides.org along with the photo. I had no idea it could actually be harmful. Thanks for the tip, and we'll see what they say.

OH - This is AWESOME!! You need to submit this somewhere. Which store is this? The ultimate definition of juxtaposition.
I'm with Broadsheet...that's the FUNNIEST thing I've seen all day! Way to go, C!!

This is the Boston St SAFEWAY!!! You think they'd be posh enough to notice this. Although I see Missy's point, for sure. It's a sad world.

I'll have to check the 25th St. Safeway and report back.
You might want to send that photo and the store's name to www.beyondpesticides.org
I, for one, have had a major insecticide exposure, and am highly sensitive to insecticides/pesticides.
This just does not look like a good scenario. I wouldn't buy those feminine hygiene products. Not after what I've been through.
Thanks for the photo. Men should see that too - it was probably a man stocking the shelves. What do you think?

oqI was wondering if that could be dangerous as well... I like a little distance between my pesticides and things inserted internally....
